Today Meg and I went to Lauriston Castle but when we got there, it wasn’t open for showing, so we walked around the grounds for a bit. It was a stunningly beautiful day–crisp and cloudless. We decided to walk over to Cramond Beach and see if we could walk out to the island. The tide was too high to get all the way there but we went as far as we could. We walked back along a path by someone’s field and then went to a charity shop where I found the fur coat of my dreams which seems silly (and it is) but it made me very happy. It was lovely to get some Meg-time. I love our chats and even though we just talked and walked for like three hours, we still had things to say.
