Big beautiful churches! The stained glass in Sainte Chapelle is from the 13th century which is insane, if anyway is mean to the middle ages I am going to show them these pics and be like oh ya?? a time of great darkness you say?? stop that Romanophilia and open your eyes!! Can you imagine being a middle ages peasent and you get to go in Sainte Chapelle? You would pass out. You would think of heaven. You would believe in God, I’ll tell you that. Talk about the word made art– all the panels are bible stories! Incredible place. Sacre-Coeur tries to kill you with stairs but it really was so nice with the sun setting and mass and the nun with a pretty voice singing French hymns.

Versailles is an amazing place. In general, tours of rich peoples houses don’t tend to be my favorite and this was no exception, I was honestly just spending the whole time being like “OMG Sophia Coppola was here. Kristen Dunst was in THAT bed, can you believe.” Every time I see those big-ass houses I get why people wanted to kill their kings. The gardens on the other hand? Could not be a bigger fan, absolutely obsessed, they were so beautiful. I wanted to spend all day there, unbelievable.
