St Andrews and Glasgow

I visited the two school I was accepted to for creative writing and decided I don’t want to go to either of them! I went to St Andrews for a post graduate day and left at lunch– I simply did not feel good about it. This is a bit of a bummer because it is an excellent school and I am sure would look good on a resume– not that I live for my resume (obviously!!) I visited Glasgow and felt better about it than St Andrews but still not thrilled– the reality is that I want to go to the University of Edinburgh. Unfortunately I have not been accepted yet , they told me I didn’t make the first round and but would let me know if I made the second round. The really annoying thing about this is that I have to start letting these schools know if I want to go there soon– before I will most likely hear back from the University of Edinburgh. Anyway I think I am going to just wait and bet that I get into the University of Edinburgh and if I need to get back to St Andrews and Glasgow before that, to say no. This makes me a little nervous because I don’t really want to end up without a program to get into (what if University of Edinburgh and the two in Ireland both say no?) but I think it is better to wait than to make a decision for the sake of not being insecure about the future, only to wish later that I had been patient.

I watched all of Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon after my papers where in which clocked in at about 7 hours of television a day which is astounding. Look at me go.
