It was so fun getting to know everyone, we stayed up until 1 am talking and laughing. The AirBnB had this incredible view and all morning we just sat and looked at it. We went down to the beach and then headed out to the Three Sisters for our hike which was absolutely breathtaking. I love hiking! I had forgotten and just worried about slowing people down but honestly it doesn’t matter at all and I was so happy to be outside. The colors were incredible– thick globs of moss, a carpet of browns, greens, and reds on the mountain with clear, jewel-toned water flowing in the river. After our hike, we went and tried to find castles– we saw three. On the car ride back we went around and picked songs for everyone to listen to and it was so much fun. Ben graciously drove the whole time despite me being the official driver because the narrow roads were freaking me out– driving on the other side was fine actually. It was a strange way to get to know Ben, a new friend, really throwing all of us in the deep end as far as time spent together but it was nice. All I can think about now is when I am going to be able to get outside and hiking again, much to Meg’s delight! Poor girl has been trying to get me into it the whole time.
