I missed my connecting flight to PHX and they couldn’t get me on a flight until 24 hours later so I got a hotel by Union Square. I got an amazing burger, something I have been missing, I got a good-ish night sleep all jet lagged considered and watched a movie that night (Priscilla! Finally!) The next morning I got up and had a slow morning, got a bagel, walked around the Christmas village, went to some bookshops, and got some delicious hot chocolate. It was a pretty nice NYC trip considering it is historically not my favorite place in the world. I truly cannot wait to get home.
